Great book!! Great story!!! The plotline was absolutely addicting. that's my whole review! Doesn't get much simpler than that. This is the first Balzano/Byrne book I've read, not to mention Mr. Montanari. Did not realize when I picked it up at the library that it was the 4th go round for these detectives.I went to the library today and picked up "The Rosary Girls". I usually like to read such in order, but I will have to alter a little this time. A fantastic mystery novel written in the style of Jeffrey Deaver. Montanari is a very good writer and can be exceptionally difficult to locate. The reason his books are so difficult to locate seems to be that each title seems to have several different titles. Does anyone have any information on why authors would do such a thing? I have waited a long time to read this and finally found it at our library under the title of Badlands. Seriously I would highly recommend these books to any fan of Deaver's works or the mystery genre.
Good descriptions of the thinking of the boy and the serial killer. Mesmerizing.
