This follow-up novel was still juicy and intriguing but I got tired of Tatum saying the same thing over and over again. Was bit of a one note with her doubting Jameson again and again about if he was faithful and her thinking their relationship is a game. Picked up quickly at the end with the sub-plot of Angier's GF, and what's not to love about Sandy? ;-) Look forward to a bang ending, fingers crossed! Maybe the real problem is, that I have a nasty experience with sequels or triologys. Reading the second book is like chewing the same bubble gum for days. Same motion but no flavour.I loved, absolutely adored Degradation. It was somehow unique and refreshing. But Separation... Hmm. Tate who was a free and fun spirit in the first book turns out to be a psychotic neurotic b..ch. She is so bitter and blind that its just a torture to read. She was the one who made this whole too duchebag-alpha-male acceptable. But in this book she was unbearable. I get it. She is hurt, she s angry, she scarred. But still.. She should find the strenght to stand up, to be herself because she was pictured like that in Degradation. But if she would just listen and observe, that should be enough to keep going and grow her balls back! But she is blind and deaf and whiney and annoying.And.. I hate sequels. They dont wait to disappoint. :(
