Skimmimg through it, I got the gist of the story. I rounded my rating because of one thing: the hero. He is the reason why this book is great. I just wanted to give him a hug. Due to his past, he has been in a self-appointed isolation until the heroine arrived. Throughout the book, the hero made me adore him more and more. He is the reason for this high rating, and he'll probably be the reason why I would eagerly look forward to re-reading the book again. As for the heroine, I like her, but not as much as I adore the hero. There are a few instances that I don't particularly like the heroine, but for the most part, the heroine is a great partner for the hero. Also, there is a little tyke that is simply adorable, especially when she is getting closer to the hero.I plan to read the whole series thoroughly. If I skimmed through them before reading them thoroughly, that's fine. All that I can say is that I wished I had started reading Ms. Cole's series years ago, but now that I have, I'm hooked. Vampire Demon - Vemon. Not gonna lie. I went in to this thinking it would be exactly like the others - and I was ok with that - but this was so much better. My favorite in the series, I think. Malkom is extremely well-written and while I didn't like Carrow (I mean, really, do I ever like the females?) I did love just about everything else. And little Ruby? KILLZ ME DED! So cute. I will admit I almost cried in this book. Just before they leave Oblivion. Yeah. I was totally misty-eyed. But I swear to gods I will deny that outside of this post!
Do You like book Sehnsucht Der Dunkelheit (2012)?
Loved Malkom's character! A great addition to this series.
