This is the story of Ryan and Bente. You first meet these characters in the Saving Wishes Books. As much as I would recommend the first 3 books (because they are amazing!!) I don't think it is neccessary to read them to understand Ryan and Bente. Then again, since I read them maybe I just understood them better already. (Just go ahead and read them to make sure!! ;) )Ryan and Bente pretty much have known each other years ago and meet up once again. Around this time Ryan is starting to see his ways. He is getting older and with all the time he spends with his niece, hes gotten soft. Which is great! Time to settle down and who better than Bente. Bente does not put up with Ryans mess. And a mess Ryan is. Because Ryan has never been in a serious relationship he doesnt know what to do half the time he is with Bente. That is what I liked about this book, it is not a book of angst and ex girlfriends popping up.In this book, you have these two just becoming a couple and working it out. At the same time you still get Charlie and Adam, with their lovely little girl, the parents, Bente's sisters and her (OMG, be prepared for it) nieces. You have to be prepared to deal with the little teasers of knowing there is something going on between Adam and Charlie. The way that GJ Walker approaches this is that the book is from Ryan and Bentes perspective so when they notice something wrong and ask Adam or/and Charli if everythings ok, and if they respond it is, thats all far as it goes. I think its done brilliantly where as a reader Im not so upset, although curious.I do not want to put in spoilers in but I do highly recommend this book. Most of the time I will run through a book and read it because I am so excited but I with this book I took my time and savored it. I hope my review does this book justice, it was another great read. I'm glad that Benta and Ryan got together. He was an arse but an honest one. What I love about G.J.'s stories is that her characters evolve right along with her stories. I love how they are living and its not all HEA its actually life. Although I am highly upset that I have to wait until December to find out what happened to Charli. Bridget is absolutely adorable and completely understand why she has stolen everyone's heart including her demanding grandfather. I especially loved the part when Ryan gave back her wings when he stole them away. The nick names are my absolute favorite fell right into the story. This is what it means to get lost in the story and G.J. writing does that.
