Secret Admirer, by R.L. Stine is a book about Selena. Selena is a senior with a great talent. After getting in drama and taking parts in big roles she has become the star of the whole school. Everything in her life seems just fine then the night of her play someone leaves her a gift. This gift isn't like any other. She comes to find a bouquet of black dead roses. She is so angry and disgusted by what she finds. To her surprise there is a note in it. At first she thinks this is all a sick joke. Selena thinks it could be one of her friends who has known her for a very long time. She as well thinks it could be her ex-boyfriend. At a point she is so confused because they both tell her that they would never do that. That very same night she is going to a party. Everything seems fine till her and her friend get chased. At this point they are scarred and don't no what to do. When they finally arrive to the party they see it was just someone playing a joke on them. At this party they see this one guy who they have never seen before. When she finally gets to meet him she is a little frightened on how much he knows about her. So many weird things happening to her but it doesn't stop there. She keeps on finding all these sick gifts and feels like she is being stalked with all the things that are going on around her. Who could it be her dear old friend, Her ex-boyfriend, Or the oddly new guy who knows a little to much about her. This book is a great book. Stine is one of my favorite authors. He really knows how to keep me on my toes. I would really recommend this book to anyone why likes suspense. The author is trying to say in this book is to trust the people you know. They may seem like they might do so many things to you but then again you may be wrong. Also that whenever you are in this kind of things that maybe you should tell some one. You should also be a little protected because you never know who may be watching you.
3rd Quarter Reading ResponseThis book was one of my favorite horror books. I just finished it and I loved it. It was really interesting.In the beginning, when things started to get suspicious, I started to think that the Selena's stalker was either Danny, Selena's previous boy friend, or Eddy the new assistant teacher for drama club. One reason I thought the stalker might have been Danny, was because Danny seemed a little jealous of her, now that they were done, and she was so pretty. She had so many friends, especially guy friends. I could see that Danny was getting really pissed off. I also thought it could've been Eddy, because Eddy knew so much about Selena, and they had just met. It seemed kinda stalker-ish.I realized that authors want to trick you. They want you to believe something that's not true. In this case, R.L. Stine wanted me to believe that somebody else was the stalker. The stalker turned out to be Selena's closest, best friend in the whole world, Katy. The author didn't want me to think the stalker was Katy, because he wanted to make it suspenseful. And that's how good authors write.

This book was really bad. I didn't really like it. It is about this girl that has a secret Admirer. Her secret admirer is kinda like a stocker that gives her really grotesque gifts. In one part the secret admirer gives her like a rat. It is really gross and I kinda hated this book.I can make a text to world connection. People sometimes stock each other because they feel like they need to be loved. In this book the stocker is already loved but she somehow still wants to follow this girl around. This book doesn't really make any sense to me.I rate this book one star. The book was slow boring and kinda lame. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone, unless you are a person who likes really bad books.

In the book Secret Admirer there is a killer who calls himself the sun. The sun is obsessed with Selena. The sun threatens Selena to quit acting or he will kill her. Selena doesn't know whether she should do what the sun says or keep acting. You never know who to trust. I can connect this book to the world because many people can threaten you to do something you don't want. They may threaten you like kill you or killing your family. But you also never know who to trust or who is right that way you give up and you lose. But there are some people in the world who overcome they're situation and have a friend they can trust. I gave this book 5 stars because it was interesting to see what the characters were feeling. I didn't put this book down because i wanted to see who the killer was. It kept me entertained because of all the killing. All the characters were acting weird so i didnt know who the killer was or what was the character going to do next.

The book Fear Street Secret Admirer by R.L Stine talks about a girl named Selena that srangely one day she receives mold flowers with a white envelope in them and says in it that he/she is going to love her forever until death so she gets scared and then the secret admirer whos closer than she think it is.He keeps on sending her white envelopes with a sticker of a sun but now the secret admirer wants her to leave from acting and is sorrounding her by telling her that she is going to kill her friends and she doesnt listen to him/her because she thinks its a joke but its not and until him/her kills someone she understood first Selena thinks its Jake but this is a lie, the secret makes her think that because the stickers are in his locker but really he saw them in the secret admirers locker and took them to show them to Selena.If you like horror books you will love this book.This book makes you go to the storys world and fool you this book requires alot of attention if you want to resolve the mistery before the book does.What i learned by reading this book and hope you also to learn by reading this book is that you need to pay closer attention to the people sorrounding you and not only to think of yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=]
