Now we get Carter's POV from the beginning, and the total lack of communication is mind blowing. True to the fact that most guys have no idea what is going on in their girlfriends heads and subtle hints are WASTED on them. So even if you've read her version you kind of feel for the poor idiot knowing where he messed up and knowing that he still hasn't quite figured it out yet. It's sad how he let himself get manipulated buy these other women that clearly didn't care about him knowing he was a weak whoredog that just couldn't turn down the freebies thrown in his face, ahhh poor baby Carter. So we know he has issues with being a manslut, he tried to be good but he has no will power. The way he vowed to get her back is endearing and ridiculous at the same time, to even think for one minute he should have a chance is delusional. All the mindless screwing around going on here with the same old crowd, well wouldn't you get tired of getting sloppy seconds? Just wondering. Obviously I've lead a sheltered life. It's been a while since I read scornfully yours and now I have purchased every book available in the torn series and my journey begins. So I started with scornfully hers first. Oh have mercy at 2 a.m. I knew I needed to sleep 5 a.m would come pretty quickly but I was so entranced that I didn't care sleep could come later or not at all. Carter Mason was burned into my brain. I remember in scornfully yours I was thinking , oh he is a Man whore, he will never change and he is going to break Emma apart but here where I got to be in his head I fell completely and madly in love with the infuriating man whore. He had me so crazy. I loved him, hated him , loved him again. No one had ever made him fall in love until Emma and she had him twisted up in knots. The text he would send her had me swooning, the sex was AWEEESSSOOME, and the cray-cray moments with Bass Cole were heart pounding. He seriously loves her but he messes up big time and he broke me. I want to hate him but I just can't for some reason I still adore him.Scornfully hers takes you into the events of scornfully hers but in Carter's pov and it was freaking amazing. This is a definite series I know I am gonna love. Now off to Frayed!!
