Wow great book it was hit or miss there for awhile with these two people, Marcail and William had a past so I figured when I found out it was a rocky past that they would not be able to work thing's out. And there for awhile I thought that they would not work it out, but in the end it did I' m so happy. I cried once or twice during the parts I thought that it didn't work out. Keep up the good Work Karen Hawkins love your books. I enjoyed the action of this book but as far as the actual love story it didn't seem like there was much there. They were in love when they were younger, she dumped him, they meet again and are in love again in the end. Only other issue I have with this series is that the ends of the two books I've read so far are so anti-climactic. The hero and heroine sort of catch the "villain" but then don't really do anything about it. I'm going to keep reading because I'm looking forward to Michael's story.
