3.5 stars. I am having a hard time to express my feelings towards this book, but here goes. This book has something that can be characterize as the love of the family. The strong unity all brothers and parents have. What each brother went through when they were is foster care and how the mom stepped up and took care of them even though in the beginning they were not liked her one bit. But in regards to Sam and Julie romance, well, I felt like it needed more umph, I wanted maybe a rivalry between him and his brothers. It just felt short. Nice beginning of the story, the end just went straight on the caca side. I apologize to Ms. Rainey, but I was not enjoying this book. Wowzers! What a great little book! This is the first book I have read from this author and I can sure tell you I will be searching out more! The book was just lovely and sweet. Sam was amazingly HOT and so very nice. Also Julie was such a great heroin...such a nice girl and beautiful and not at all whiny (how can you tell I am getting so sick of the books with the whiny heroin...). Anyway what a great start to a series...there are 4 more brothers we hopefully get to read about. The sex scenes are plentiful and steamy and delicious. My only problem with this book is I wished it was longer.
Short read, interesting characters, storyline was ok but a bit over the top for me. Just my opinion
