About book Saga Crepúsculo: Guía Oficial Ilustrada (2011)
This guide is pure gold in the hands of an avid Twilight fan. If you ever wanted to know about the back-stories of minor characters, the rise and fall of the Volturi, the truth behind Alice's origins, the reasons behind the twins' deadly powers and much more... this book is a MUST BUY.All avid Twilight fans should have this. It basically ties up almost all loose ends, answers almost all the unanswered questions, you name it.If you're a Twilight fan and you don't have this book yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Buy it now! Reading anything Twilight-related is like revisiting a puppy love in so many ways. It's a love that was not meant to be, but I remember the moment with fondness, sometimes stifle a laugh when something stupid I did in the name of love comes to mind. I still enjoy it, but in a different, age-appropriate way. This book is opened by a transcript of interview with Stephenie Meyer by Shannon Hale. Regardless of your opinion of whether Stephenie Meyer is a good writer or not, it is actually interesting to read what she thought of writing. She also explained how the idea of the infamous ending of Breaking Dawn was conceived. It is good to know that it was philosophical and all, but it is still not working for me, sorry. Fortunately she enjoyed writing this book, and she wrote this mainly for herself, which is good for her.The illustrations are gorgeous and I enjoy reading the backstory of the vampires, werewolves, and all. But I don't really understand the point of 50-pages of story summary. It's clear that those who hates the series won't touch this book, and those who read this book probably can recite the plot point of every book with eyes closed. I wish I read this book six years ago. I bet this book would be great to add to my cherished Twilight collection...and to that illusion of long-lasting, passionate puppy love.

I really enjoyed this book due to the fact of learning every single one of the characters backgrounds especially where they were born. The illustrations in this book were quite amazing ,and it really gave me a clear view of what I thought the characters might look like from the book. I loved knowing about all of the different covens. Thi book really is a great guide to anyone looking to read the twilight saga ,and or who have already read the twilight saga. This book may be bug but if your really into it it's an easy read. I recommend this book to anyone who is a twilight fan wanting to know more about the characters! :)

There were tiny outtakes included in this book that expand further on the Twilight Sage itself, plus informative interviews with the author. But for me the best aspect of this book was the demonstration of how one might organize fictitious characters and timelines to keep it straight in the author’s head as a writing tool. I suspect this book was predominantly a compilation of the author’s notes to herself to keep track of her world. 5/5
