Ah, another fantastic Lori Foster romance. I waited until I had all 4 Love Undercover books before I started reading the series, and I'm so glad I did! I've devoured them all in less than a week!Logan is not just a sexy alpha male, but he's a caring guy with a conscience. A rare treat in a book! He's smart & strong, and one of "the good guys"!Pepper is a hot mess, and I loved her! She was witty, and lovely, and a tough cookie.All in all, a delightful start to a series that is definitely worth reading! Lori Foster definitely knows how to write an awesome, lovable, hot, caring, alpha male...I can't get enough of her books. I LOVED the Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor series so I was looking forward to this one, I like series that don't necessary follow the same characters but who overlap and make appearances in the continuing books. This was the start of the Love UnderCover series, with Logan and Pepper. These 2 had chemistry right from the start, even though both were hiding who they really are...Logan undercover, snooping on Pepper while trying to find her brother, and Pepper hiding out from something in her past. It was awesome to see the change in Pepper, from her timid/shy/hidden "Sue Meeks" character to the spunky, feisty woman she really is...Logan had his hands full!
