I'm really enjoying this series and the audiobook narrator is very good. They are simple stories, not even Agatha Christie, but I enjoy this type of story more the older I get. The heroine is young, penniless, and a royal. She's not afraid to step out of her comfort zone and look for answers without drawing attention to herself. Sometimes the logical next step seems right in front of her and I want her to be smarter and see it, but then she's not one of those tough, know-it-all characters so I have patience. This series might be too soft for some people, but if you like a story with likable characters in interesting situations without a lot of stress, then you will like these. Another delightful installment of the A Royal Spyness mystery series. As usual it is the characters, not the mystery itself, that keeps me coming back for more. This time around the action takes part in Georgie's ancestral home in Scotland and as usual there is murder mixed with laugh out loud hijinks. The reason why Georgie goes back to Scotland will have you shaking with laughter. These audio books are absolutely marvelous. Only down-part is the constant urge to try Pims LOL!
