A very good start, then the plot lost his intent, as the relationship between Rosalie and Nick develops, while both of them keep pretending nothing unusual happens. However even then it remained much better than many other light romantic comedy.Characters were really enjoyable, not all of them perfectly likable, but that also helped in making the book a bit more realistic and on the soft side of quirky.I'll most probably read others from this author. When Rosalie Ronaldi meets a tow truck driver named Nick, it's lust at first sight. After one date, Rosalie tells him up front that she doesn't want commitment and will never get married. Nick is startled since that is the line he usually uses. They agree to an affair--no strings--no commitment. But Rosalie doesn't know that Nick is actually Dominick Romeo, rich owner of several car dealerships, and Nick doesn't want to tell her. He's had enough of women wanting him for his money and is enjoying being a normal guy with Rosalie. Soon Nick realizes that Rosalie's job may be impacted by the lies he's told her. He'll have to come clean soon, but doesn't want to ruin what they've found.I'm not a big fan of contemporary romance, but I thought this one was great. There are a lot of humorous situations that just made me smile. Nick is almost too good to be true...a hero who likes to cook and clean. Rosalie is an independent business woman who lives on coffee and doesn't have time to clean anything. They soon find they actually want a commitment but are afraid to admit it. The other characters in this book are fun...from Rosalie's crazy Italian family to her dog, Dave. I know some of them will get their own story and I can't wait to read it. My rating: 5 Stars.
