About book Rock'n Tapestries (2000)

I received this book for an honest review!!I was originally going to read Wild Angels before this book but I read that I really needed to read this book first so I did. I guess you could call this a lengthy prequel. I mostly enjoyed the book. At times I forced myself to keep going and I'm glad I did. I didn't think I was emotionally involved with Chelsea and Asher but I found out I was completely involved by the end.Chelsea sometimes comes across as to casual for me. She rebounds from attacks and stressful situations too quickly and doesn't seem to react correctly. I like that Chelsea listens and relies in herself to make good and bad decisions. She doesn't hid from her mistakes, she owns them. She's honest and focused. She is a strong person.Asher is suppose to be a jerk but I found I rather liked his attitude. He spouts off feelings and then shuts down. Ladies, we all have met of fair share of that guy. You know from the beginning he is hiding but you can figure it out rather quickly. Asher's character isn't a complete complete jack$&@. He simply cannot deal with his feelings. I wish we were able to find out why but you really don't get that much of a back story. While there were some shortfalls overall the book is worth reading and finishing. The storyline is a beautifully sad but perfect. I knew that the ending would be something that was less than a HEA but it completely works for me. You will laugh, cry, rant, and celebrate while reading this book. Enjoy!!! Awesome book! I loved the whole book, but theend crushed me. I wanted to cheer on Chelsea and wipe the smug look off of Asher's face both at the same time. Also wanted to hug him. He infuriated me at times. You could tell how much he had always loved her, but something held him back. Something made him run. You eventually find out what that is. Thank God for Tage - he is a savior. You will need a box of chocolates, a stash of tissues, and a full carton of ice cream to get over the end of this book. But, your heart will still ache, and it will most certainly still break. I bawled til I had a stomach ache, but it was so worth it. Then, I did what any sane (or obsessed) reader would do...I grabbed the sequel and started reading.ARC provided in exchange for honest review.
