I'm sorry. I really don't like to give one star reviews to books, but this book was horrible. It was boring, boring, boring. I felt like the characters didn't have time to grow and the ending was horrible. I'm all about women power, but really? Why even waste our time with the guys in this book?? I don't think I'll be reading Anymore books from this author. I've got too many other books to read to waste my time with more like this. Sorry again. I wasn't really sure what to make of this book. An incredibly naïve fashion writer, Emily, as a character made me cross at points in the story.Emily fancies her friend, struggling musician, Jesse. After a what seems like the brush off from Jesse, Emily accepts the number of another musician - Cory. Suddenly launched into the limelight, Emily's life changes beyond recognition in a very short period of time. Emily learns that fame changes people and who she should be careful about who she can trust.A compelling story but I wasn't completely happy with the ending.
