Note: I will not include any spoilers from this book, but if you have not read the previous books and hate spoilers, then please do not read this review.This is your last warning!!!!Now that Tigerclaw has been banished, Thunderclan attempts to repair the clan knowing that he is cast out but may still be lurking in the forest. Since Fireheart is the new deputy of the clan, he needs to step it up in order to fulfill his responsibilities as well as help the clan rebuild from the attack of the rogues. As he starts to build a new sense of responsibility, Fireheart continues to watch out for Tigerclaw not knowing when he may plot a future attack on Thunderclan.Not only that, but Fireheart is also feeling extremely lonely now that Graystripe is now part of Riverclan. Even though he feels lonely and misses his good friend, Fireheart hopes that they may be able to continue their friendship even though they are now of separate clans. I enjoyed this book much more because of the suspense of Tigerclaw as well as what else happens to be going on in the forest with the clans. Bluestar has now become mistrustful of everyone and feels that Star Clan is out to get her. She cannot understand why Tigerclaw would betray but feels both guilt and sadness for his attacking the clan even though it isn't her fault. She also feels that Star Clan is against when she tries to visit Mothermouth with Fireheart and is stopped by a patrol of Windclan cats. This only causes her to feel more discouraged and now there is a possibility that she is building up some anxiety. Not only is there that stress, but the forest is also getting hotter and hotter as a fire sweeps through the forest and causes severe damage.And of course the ending! Who expected that to happen?What I really enjoyed about this book was that it was suspenseful and it kept me wondering what was going to happen especially now that Tigerclaw's treachery was exposed. It was a very good read and I feel so close to the end of the series that I am eager to see how it all ends! I know that many people make the argument that there are stories about talking animals that are much better than this series, but I feel that the series does a pretty nice job of standing on it's own. I'm not a fan of comparing books so I won't do that, but I will say this is really good considering that it is a middle grade fiction. Although I don't read middle grade all that much, this series doesn't seem like a disappointment to me. And now that I am reading it with my little sister, I can see how much she is enjoying it and how she has made some friends because she loves to read. And the both adore warriors! Yes, it isn't the best series out there, but I prefer to see it as it is individually. And that's good enough.
This book is very interesting. Fireheart has become deputy of Thunderclan after driveing out the fourmer deputy Tigerclaw. Bluestripe becomes very sick (meantly) and starts not honoring Starclan. Fireheart also finds that Cloudpaw is going to Twoleg nests to get food. One day when he is doing that the Twolegs capture him and take him away. Fireheart has to worry about many things like Greystripe and Silverstrim. Also Tigerclaw is out in the forest wateing for the chance to hurt Fireheart some how. If its through a friend or directly. I can make a text-to-self connection to this book. Fireheart had to look after Cloudpaw when he was getting into trouble. Its just like you may have to look after a pet when your nabors are gone. If you had a little cuzzin over, or if you have a little brother or sister. It is just like a big responceability. I would reccomend this book to everyone. People of all ages. It keeps your atention and it has tons of action and you cant put the book down. It is great how the authour can combind fantusy with reality to make it believeable. I would give this book four and a half stars. You can not put this book down.
I read the first of the Warriors series (Into the Wild) with a group of advanced 4th graders, and as I expected - they became hooked. So, I headed to a local bookstore and stocked up on the next 12 books of the series, knowing that they would fly off of my shelf. Now, I could say that I read Rising Storm today because I want to be able to discuss the books with the students, which would be true, but I'll be real truthful. I LOVE this series! Maybe it's because I have four cats and I see my cats in the different characters, but really it's because the author does a wonderful job of keeping the action moving, with unexpected twists and turns. And, as with any good series there are characters you love (Fireheart, Graystripe, Sandstorm, Cinderpelt, Yellowfang) and those you despise (Tigerclaw, Darkstripe). So, what does this mean? Guess I'll be reading on!

This was an amazing book. Absolutely amazing. Like the previous books in the series, it was a perfect blend of adventure, fantasy, suspense, survival, and friendship. There were many surprises as always, along with extremely happy and sad parts. SPOILERS AHEAD! I got misty-eyed when Yellowfang died. She was an amazing character, and her last moments were so touching. I know that Cinderpelt will be great as medicine cat. She's grown so wise and strong, yet remained her perky and teasing old self. I was sad that Bluestar has such a dramatic change of character, but Fireheart did a wonderful job taking over when needed. Hopefully she recovers. Cloudpaw was enjoyable to watch as always. I loved reading about the fire at the end. It was one of those scenes that was action-packed and thrilling. I was totally with the characters throughout the whole thing. As sorrowful as the losses were, it was nice to see RiverClan reach out and help them. Another one of my favorite things about the book was watching Fireheart and Sandstorm. Those two are very interesting. As Cinderpelt said, "Every cat in the Clan can see that Sandstorm is very, very fond of you!" And after that, it was awesome to see Fireheart sort out his feelings. Can't wait to see more of them in the next books. I was shocked by the ending, of course - with Tigerclaw and ShadowClan. How will Bluestar react? Okay, I'm getting carried away. All you need to know is that this is a wonderful adventure book that you won't regret reading.

I think this book is really exciting because I like this series (Warrior series) because it is about cats (and I love cats!). This book is mainly about a hot summer and everything is getting dry and is starting to become a fire hazard. These books have a perspective of a cat named Fireheart who lives in ThunderClan. I would recommend this book to others because I truly love this series and to read again and again! (FYI: This is my second time reading this series that should tell you how good it is!:)...).
