Not your typical boy meets girl story!! I loved the plot and all of the twists and turns. I couldn't put the book down. There was a bit of a love triangle in the book but I really hate even calling it a love triangle because to me it was more of Tinley finding herself. Tinley had her whole life planned out before her everything was perfect, perfect boyfriend, home and life until one day she returned home to find the place empty and the love of her life gone leaving her with just a note. Tinley moved across the country to pursue her own dreams. After getting some really great news one afternoon while strolling through Central Park, Tinley encounters a mysterious mad singing and her life would never be the same. Van comes into her life and they are taken on a whirlwind of a ride. Van is for sure a new book boyfriend. I loved, loved, loved this story and can not wait to read more from Rachel Rae! Ripping Pages was a moving story about turning the pages in our lives and beginning a new chapter and being able to leave the last one behind you. The past is the past and though it shapes who we are, it should remain in the past. This book was hot, sexy, sweet and sentimental. I adored each and every page of it and was unable to put it down.Tinley had the world. She had a great boyfriend, a promising future and everything she could hope for. But after walking into her boyfriend’s very empty apartment, Tinley lost a part of herself. She was alone and she didn’t quite understand why. After spending so much time crying herself to sleep and spending countless hours wondering what happened, Tinley finally decided to pursue her dreams. She knew she could make it on Broadway. So she packed up her stuff and moved to New York with her cousin.But what happens in New York was something more amazing than just a promising career. She hears him play, she hears his voice and she is completely captivated. He is a rock star and is just in awe from the first time he sees Tinley in the park while playing his guitar. Van is just mesmerized by Tinley and he knows in an instant that she is the one that could change his life. Chance meeting after chance meeting and eventually these two find their way to each other.Sparks fly, passion is intense and Van and Tinley can’t get enough! These two are hot and they burn up the pages in this book. But what happens next is just short of an OMG moment that leaves you breathless. I spent the last part of the book rooting for Van and Tinley but what happens when James returns to the picture is anything but predictable.I loved this book and the characters. Everyone has their flaws but the characters in Ripping Pages face them and keep you on the edge of your seat while they do.
