My father has a thing for books on with guidelines to becoming someone either rich as in money or rich as in lifestyle. He gave me a whole collection of books and told me that this was his favorite and that I need to read it because it is very interesting. After reading this book I started to think deeply about my music and how I need to work hard everyday to make myself a better writer and person in general I don't only want to be good lyrically but I want to to do something with my talent. So my friend started a music group called CMG, known as CrownMusicGroup. Now I'm in charge of recording supplies and I want to start a clothing line. but I have to think and know what I want and why i'm doing it. The book Introduced me to Transcendental Meditation(TM), which is the practice of finding inner stillness. I found the world slowed down and the quietness prompted some creativity and clarity I had not experienced in awhile. As a Christian however I could not settle on the seeming dominance of Lord Krishna and his sayings. I decided to chant biblical scripture during meditation and that was much more successful for me. Russell Simmons did not promote any religion but referenced yogi's as the road to enlightenment.
I liked that this book was not actually about money, but about spiritual richness.
