Shay has access to both worlds whether she wants it or not. She might not understand what's going on, but she's definitely trying to make up for lost time. Brina has nicely put together a world that's quite vivid to imagine. I look forward to what comes next for this series. A macabre ability she tries to hide for obvious reasons!? Her "bestie" is Jeremy who happens to be dead (go figure).There's a twist to her "gifts" and all is not as it seems, unknown to Shay she is a part of something much bigger than herself.HUGH~The hunk she's had her eye on for some time shares her "gift" and he has the answers to many of her questions. "Cryptids" ~ A new concept for me they're half human, half animal, but they're not like werewolves or shapeshifters. They're something unique and different.
