I have followed this series from the very beginning. Drew and Fable are one of my favorite book couples. I was thrilled when I found out Fable's little brother, Owen, was going to get his own book. I love that I have been able to watch these characters grow and blossom through this series. Fable and Drew have settled into married life and live in San Francisco now. When we catch up with Owen, it is four years later, just as the title conveys. Fable's baby brother has come a long way from a troubled teen to a drool worthy book boyfriend. Chelsea id Owen's love interest in Four Years Later. She is sweet and shy and has brought in by Owen's counselor and coach to be his tutor. Owen is slacking off in school and if he can't get his grades up his football playing days are over. Of course, as any typical hero does, he has no interest in being tutored by Chelsea and gives her some major attitude.This story wouldn't have been complete if Fable and Owen's poor excuse for a mother didn't make an appearance. She's just as messed up as ever. And she loves to manipulate her son. This was a great book and rounded out the One Week Girlfriend series nicely. I loved to see Owen come into his own. I hope maybe we get another little novella for him and Chelsea. And maybe, just maybe, Monica Murphy will write a book for Wade. Il giovane deve migliorare i suoi voti se non vuole essere bocciato e soprattutto per poter continuare a giocare nella squadra di football,perciò gli viene assegnato un tutor: Chelsea.Il ragazzo si presenta all'appuntamento intenzionato a corromperla,ma appena la vede, cambia idea: lei lo incuriosisce,lo intriga. Chelsea ha i capelli scuri e gli occhi azzurri,è molto bella nonostante faccia di tutto per nasconderlo. Ragazza prodigio,timida ed insicura troverà in Owen la forza per affrontare le proprie paure ed uscire dal proprio guscio esprimendo sè stessa. D'altra parte anche Owen lotta contro i fantasmi del passato che continuano a tormentarlo nel presente: il rapporto d'amore-odio con una madre tossica ed egoista che lo cerca solo per i soldi e la marijuana. I due ragazzi si legano come non mai: Chelsea diventa una ragazza bella e sicura mentre Owen sembra aver imboccato la retta via. Ad incrinare il loro rapporto sarà la droga e una serie di bugie e fraintendimenti. Ma l'amore ed il senso di appartenenza che li lega sarà ciò che li farà tornare insieme.Per sempre.Romanzo carino e scorrevole dove non mancano romanticismo e sensualità. Non ho dato 5 stelle perché nonostante il lieto fine non c'è un epilogo ed io invece,da brava romatica, lo pretendo.Forse il più riuscito della serie. Consigliato!
