Книга о том, как работать удаленно. Без офиса, из собственной квартиры. В тапочках и трусах. Я, в принципе, этим занимаюсь уже лет десять, поэтому наивно полагал найти для себя что-нибудь новое и полезное. И очень сильно обломался. Впрочем, как и десятки других пользователей, который матерят эту книгу в Goodreads. Проблема в том, что авторы книги Хенссон и Фрайд - основатели известной конторы по написанию софта 37signals.com. По этой причине книга предназачена не для тех, кто собрался работать дома, а для их боссов. Сферических, в вакууме. Чтобы человек прочитал книгу, запомнил из неё штук десять аргументов, а в понедельник пришел на работу, постучал бы в дверь шефа и сказал “Босс? У меня есть к вам разговор” Для всего остального этот текст абсолютно бесполезен. There's no denying that Remote working is the future and that office jobs are becoming less and less popular. This book is a great way to familiarize yourself with the actual concepts of working remotely, what are the ups and down, how to overcome the most common issues and all the benefits to having remote workers as a company owner or as an employee yourself. I've been working remotely for over 2 years and can relate to a lot of the things being said in the book. It's a cool read and if you're interested in learning more about how companies can successfully challenge the conventional 9-5, get up in the morning, go to the office every day wisdom this book is for you!
