Enjoyed this book. It started out and hooked me right from the beginning. Marala is a single mom to son Jak. She works two jobs and they still struggle. Taylor a customer at the diner she works at has asked to make dinner for her. He is attracted to her and wants to see where things go. The problem with that is her ex, Jaks dad, Kaden, won't stand for it. When Kaden tells them to move back home with him, Taylor overhears some of the conversation and decides to follow to make sure she is ok. What happens from there is a whirl wind of activity that is completely foreign to Taylor. Things happen between Mara & Kaden and in the pack that just can't be explained. Did Mara make the right choice in coming back? Can she help Kade and make things strong again? I liked this book although I didn't love it. It was a short, enjoyable warewolf read that I read over a couple of hours.I think a little more plot could have bumped it up to 4 stars, not much really happened in this story and it all seemed to come together a little too quickly. I didn't really connect with any of the characters either. I didn't particularly like or dislike them, they were just a little flat. That being said, the world was interesting and I really loved the idea of she-wolves not turning until they seal the deal with their destined mate. It's romantic and original to boot.
Do You like book Reluctantly Lycan (2013)?
It was not bad but I would definitely recommend Patricia Briggs series about Mercedes Thompson more.
