This is the first book that I've read by this author & I can say that I'm really glad that I downloaded. This was a great read. Quite emotional to read at some points. This book had me in tears, laughing my butt off in the next breath, or fanning myself with the heat between Shayne & Liberty. I really didn't want the book to end because I fell in love with Shayne & Liberty. Looking forward to reading more about Shayne, Liberty, and the other members of their "gang". 4 1/2 starsThank you for the cry Maureen. This hit home for me on one level. I had a brother who committed suicide. I felt for Liberty, loosing a brother is hard. You find love when you're not looking for it and you find it in places you least think of. Liberty and Shayne found that. Liberty literally ran into Shayne. I guess you could say it was love at first sight. With every relationship comes a past. Every playboy has at least one dark secret. Shayne really didn't have a secret, more like that secret was never told to him. I had a feeling in the pit of my stomach that Maddie and Shayne were connected somehow.
I only read 40% I couldn't feel the connections between all the characters.
