About book Reflect Me (2013)

4.5 stars. **reviewed on behalf of Two Ordinary Girls And Their Books** Reflect me is a very good intense read. Molly is a lonely, troubled girl. She is trapped in a relationship with Brian who she hates. He treats her appallingly. He drinks a lot of the time, smokes weed and meets other women behind her back continuously. Brian doesn't just emotionally abuse Molly, but he also physical abuses her aswell. Molly just accepts this is her life as her and Brian have a new born daughter, so just gets on with it. That is until Molly meets Logan. Logan has just moved back home to be with his older brother. Logan is Brian's friend. On day he goes to visit Brian, and that's where he meets Molly. Logan has no idea how he is treating Molly or about the abuses she suffers at the hands of Brian. Logan feel a connection to Molly straight away, but he also sees straight through Molly's and Brian's life aswell. He's sees how hurt and broken down Molly is, and falls in love with her instantly and was to save her. I honestly and truly felt sorry for Molly. It wax heart breaking to read about about Molly suffering like this and her thinking she doesn't deserve better, when she does the world. K.B Webb wrote some very difficult scenes in a very compassionate way. She wrote it so the readers could understand Molly's pain and suffering, but without taking it to far. Some parts were hard to read about. I just wanted Molly to remove herself from the situation and leave Brian. Know body deserves how he treated her. I loved following Molly's journey throughout the story and seeing how with slogans help Molly starts coming out of herself and changes in to a amazing women. She gains so much confidence and strength because of Logan. Logan and Molly together were electric. I've never felt chemistry come off the pages like I did with those to. K. B Webb did such a amazing job at developing the characters superbly. Logan is a great guy. He us very sweet and likeable. He doesn't trust easily and he keeps people at arms length. I was hoping throughout the whole book that he would win Molly's heart and start trusting. Reading books that has abuse in, is never going to be easy. You always know in the back of your mind that some people are going through what your reading on a daily basis. The book hits you right in the heart and then will stay there long after you've read it. K.B Webb did a amazing job at telling the story that she wanted to tell , but telling it in a way that is compassionate and considerate. The characters were very well developed and I enjoyed the journey Logan and Molly took together. I was so happy Molly got the happiness she deserved and I'm looking forward from more books from K.B Webb in the future. flag Ugh this book. I honestly do not know why it has as high of ratings as it does. I pretty much had to force myself to finish it. And I really wanted to quit reading almost a fourth of the way through.I think it has good potential, since the main reason I didn't quit reading it, was to see how it all played out.But the book just lacked depth. It had good characters, but they weren't well rounded. A lot of it just didn't make sense. One moment Molly is in this abusive relationship, yet soon after Logan enters her life, she decides to be the strong girl she once was and ends that relationship. This book just left me seriously confused. I felt like the characters rambled a lot too. Plus there were some editing issues.
