"Red and Her Wolf" is the third story in the Kingdom Series. Marie Hall takes the well known "Little Red Riding Hood" story and turns it on its head in this intriguing new version. The leading bad boy, is no other than the Big Bad Wolf himself, but instead of being just a wolf, he's a shifter. While on a mission to kill the Heartsong, aka Little Red Riding Hood, he realized that she was his Mate. From that point on his life was never the same. "Red" was taken from him and he wants nothing more than to get her back. Overall, a great spin on the classic. What a thrilling ride this was I love how all the characters in the series are completely different. This story if red riding hood is exciting I've never heard of a version like this a must confess I like it much better. There is more action in this story with the guild of good verses evil and a selfless sacrifice. The relationship between the main characters is close to something I image Peeta and Katniss from the Hunger Games experience and overcome for their romance in the Mocking Jay book. In this book we have the male lead who is all werewolf with a powerful desire to love and find his lost mate, and a female lead who is as intriguing and different from any female character I've read about with her personal preference to please, and a heart willing to overcome what her true nature is, the main characters balance each other perfectly.
