XXX I am so pleased that through the giveaway program at Goodreads I was able to be introduced to Valerie Miner and her works. This book will go on my keepers shelf, so that I may wander again the high Sierra's through Ms Miner's eyes.Range of Light is a nostalgic return to the Sierra Range in Yellowstone by two 40-something women who made the same backpacking trip with friends in their senior year of high school. Best friends in high school, both women have spent little time together since, and are trying to find common ground to renew their friendship. This is a journey through doubt and pain that we all have travelled, presented with heart and beauty by Valerie Miner. I would recommend this book to any woman, and a few men, so that they too may 'see' this wonderful trip through the Yellowstone and life in general. I can't wait to get her other books....
