Holy hell I couldn't have put this book down if my house caught on fire!!! I love a book that alternates POV so I can get a good feel for both characters !!!I will definitely be recommending this book to friends it was AMAZING!! My heart broke for Reese and the childhood she endured and I fell in love with Luke from the beginning of the book!! Reese is a strong confident female and Luke is a tattooed bad boy MMA fighter (swoon)!! Reese and Luke were neighbors when they were younger but haven't seen each other for years!! What happens when you finally cross paths again with the boy you have dreamed about for years ... Things slowly come together and you get the boy ... Then boom his crazy abusive dad shows up and the book ends!! I cried I screamed but then I realized book 2 was out so I got to reading again!!! Once I complete the series, assuming nothing changes in the last book, I will recommend this for my teenage daughter to read.On that “note”, I am intrigued with Ryan and Reese, because I would like to see how Ms. Alyssa Rae Taylor will end the series. My opening and focus books quote is “’Awe poor baby. Do you feel used?’ The two girls sitting beside him giggle as he flashes a wink. I place my hand over my heart. ‘I do, and it hurts.’” Was my unexpected focus thru out during Ryann and Reese’s discovery. I survived the cliffhanger by understanding that time was needed for both character. I paid the sale price. For my first MMA book, this was a great introduction.
