Oh Georgina. You should know better. For an immortal, you certainly get your hopes up really high about things and then they all come crashing down. Honestly, I used to really love Seth, but he's starting to fade from my that affection. I think there was just too much betrayal in this book for me to be ok with it all. Sure, I like Seth and Georgina together, but it's just not in the cards for them, sorry to say it. Everytime they get together, they screw over someone else, like Maddie or Dante. And I feel bad for the people around them that get caught in the aftermath. Sigh! But I do love Dante, I hope I haven't seen the last of him after the battle to free Jerome. And I don't care if it's real or not, Jerome and Carter are a thing in my head. I'll reserved judgement on Roman's presence until I've seen more of it, but thus far, I don't hate him being back. Ugh, all these men. This book should be called the brodeo series. Therapy works unless you sleep with the therapist and suck out their life force! Jerome has forced Georgina into therapy, she is being horrifically sulky and he has had enough of her. When that fails he sends her to Canada, to spy for another Arch Demon who is having problems with a demonic cult that are giving Satan a bad name!Another mystery for Georgina to solve as Jerome is “summonded” in a turf war and goes missing. Fearful that a new Arch Demon will be appointed Georgian rushes to locate and save Jerome, with the help of her current destructive relationship, gosh this girl knows how to punish herself. However whilst Jerome is captured she soon discovers that she can have rampant sex with Seth, which is not good news as he is in a different relationship and trying to make a happy, non-Georgina filled life for himself. The erotica in these books is always fresh, never repetitive, sensitive but heat inducing.More heart breaking revelations about previous relationships from the past. RM is really evolving all her main stay characters in new and wonderful ways.
Do You like book Žár (2012)?
It was kind of a bummer to see how stereotypically Mead portrays Canadians in this book. Like, does she realize that the "aboot" pronunciation is not actually a thing in Vancouver? Or that Western Canadians don't say "eh"? We don't. And yeah, we like Tim Hortons (I read part of this book in a Tim Hortons) but seriously, there are WAY more Starbucks and Blenz's than Tim Hortons! I'm pretty sure I'd pass 3 Starbucks on my way to the closest Tim Hortons. If you walk in any direction in Van, you'll hit a Starbucks. And we're not that "nice."IDK, it was just kind of irritating, but also pretty fun to hear about Canadian Satanists destroying part of Butchart Gardens! The rest of the book wasn't too bad. I felt this series was a little off balance - like, every book didn't have a connected plot with the next, they all seemed fairly random, even though it ties up in the end. Also wtf Dante Moriarty, that better be a made up name, lol.

I liked this book, but I didn't like it for reasons that relate to Seth. Seth, though I understand why he did what he did in the end, really pissed me off. Plus he also made me sad when I found out he is no longer such a pure soul. The reason I liked this story was because of the plot. When Jerome goes missing and Georgina has to find him, that is why I liked this installment in the series. It was a mystery that only Georgina wanted to figure out, and the characters it brought together was truly shocking. Figuring out the mystery of who took Jerome was fun and intriguing, and that is why I really liked this one. Plus it was pretty sweet, the end, I mean. It was a great addition, and I can't wait to read the next!
