Been waiting for this one after the crazy cliffhanger of Push. The beginning was a little slow to me but then things started picking up! The end....wow....I just don't know how I feel about it. After thinking about it for a couple days, I feel like things kinda came full circle.... and I guess I am okay with the ending. I definitely won't forget these books. They are unlike anything I've read before. This is the conclusion to the book "Push". You must have read that book before reading this one. This book picks up where the first book left off, on the bridge with Emma & David. Although now we see there was a little more to that scene. This book is really sad. In the first book we get Emma's point of view and we hear about all the horrible shit she went thru because of Michael & her brothers. However, those stories made me more angry for her than sad. In this book we get to see more into David's past, and his past is sad. He was a little boy who had never really known love or compassion. Even though he is a killer and you should be rooting for his demise, you can't. He has found redemption with Emma & you really want that for him, for them. This book did not end the way I expected or the way I was rooting for, but I guess it did end the way it should have with what David thought true love was supposed to be.
Do You like book Pull (2000)?
I expected so much more in this sequel to Push. It fell flat and fizzled out.

DNF at 45% couldn't get over David's past enough to like him. Ugh

Was not real thrilled with this one, esp the ending.
