This is another great one by Laurann Dohner! Sure the story is a little bit of a stretch, and sure it is not quite on the same level as some of her other works like the New Species series, but it is still a good solid story. What carries the story is definitely the chemistry between the two characters! It was well written and - while the whole propositioning angle should make it scandalous -it still has a sort of sweetness to it that appeals - I'll definitely get the next book in the series...! This book is just out and out silly. This does not mean I didn't enjoy it. I did. Our heroine offers to pay off the hero's debt in exchange for sex. She has had a crush on his hotness for a while and when she hears he has broken up with this girlfriend and is about to lose his ranch, she is on it. She been married forever before she was widowed but in my opinion this proposal took a lot more guts than simply asking the guy out. Silly. The basic love story is good. The secondaries are all jerk and not needed. The erotic stuff is nice but honestly I skipped all the toy stuff as unnecessary and more like a checklist of erotic to dos. This was a fun light read as I find most of Dohner's books.
Sex, sex and more sex....that is what Trina wants and Navarro gives it to her...some angst, a misunderstanding or two and more sex with sex toys...my biggest criticism would be that I would have like some kissing, some more kissing and then maybe some kissing. Just saying, loads of "new" experiences are described in detail, but a serious lack of kissing and talking. The barn scene was the only one where I felt these two legitimately connected on a personal rather than physical level. I do want Ryder's story, he was a hoot!

I needed a Laurann Dohner fix...so I tried something new. I don't really like the cover though.Great start to a promising series. I love me some hot sexy Native-American goodness.Trina is a lonely widow and has an interesting proposition for Navarro Raine. He accepts and gets way more than he bargained for.I think Ryder was quite rude and should mind his own business. Can't wait for more.
