Kudos to A.J. Michaels for taking a well loved piece of literature and transferring it to the M4M romance category and doing so with respect to the original.I am a slow reader and bought this book yesterday. I darn near finished it last night but looking at the clock and seeing One am I wanted sanity today. So I saved the last 40 pages to savor today and boy was it worth it.I really enjoyed how he updated everything and the few changes he made actually pleased me very much. If you are looking for a book that has sex every couple pages look further. This is strictly romance but romance with tension.Many Many Thanks A.J., this will not be the last novel of yours that I read!! I liked the story. I didn't love it but I did enjoy it. It stayed with the spirit of Austen's work in terms of the basic storyline but switching up some details so you would be surprised and caught off guard if you have prior knowledge of Austen's work. I liked the lack of any erotic intent and keeping it just a pure romance story as well .Another part of keeping with the Austen spirit of the thing .
I really enjoyed this! A lot goes on in here and it's a slow burn type of romance.
