I'm surprised by how much I actually liked this book. It's been given a lot of negative reviews on here and I haven't seen any reviews on youtube. I haven't actually read what the negative reviews had to say so I can't exactly address those problems. I felt like this book was really fast paced. I honestly flew through this book. I can see if you aren't a religious person you may have problems with this book. It's weird because on the back synopsis it tells you it has to do with Saints, but you don't actually really find that out until more than half way through the book. I thought this book was a really interesting book and it's not like anything I've ever read before. I think more people should give it a chance. I've seen a lot of people own this book, but not many people actually picking it up and reading it. I'm interested to see how the next 2 books turn out in this trilogy. Mature YA Supernatural/SuspensePart One of The Blessed SeriesOn Halloween night, three young ladies are rushed to the ER; one for attempted suicide, one for nearly drowning in a street puddle and one who OD'd. While recovering, they are visited by a strange young man who gives each of them a priceless chaplet. Thus begins the story of Agnes, Cecelia and Lucy, three modern girls who discover they are reincarnated, modern-day saints. The girls find themselves in a battle between the literal forces of good and evil and discover the reason they were brought together. Replete with Catholic imagery and symbolism, the writing is haunting and beautiful; a literary feast.
