This book was a bit of a disappointment and boring. While the author is knowledgable and caring about her topic, she isn't about her audience. The topic is seahorses yet it tends to lengthy digressions which distract and disinterest the reader. It really took everything to pick it up after putting it down, until finally i put it down for good. Im afraid if you're looking for an interesting work on seahorses, you'll need to look elsewhere. Wow I was really disappointed in this book. As far as science books goes this was a really easy read. Nothing was over the top scientific. It was all generic information that honestly I could of easily just read on google. The author went off topic many times. I was almost annoyed every time she did. For me since I know most of the basics of seahorses, it just wasn't that interesting to me. I would maybe recommend this to a first time science reader.
It was a good book. Pretty informative. Not a major suspense filled page turner but I enjoyed it.
