I had to be patient and allow Kery to unravel this multilevel story. The relationship between Ian and Francesca was tried by external circumstances which slowly became internal. Yet, despite it all and then some Kery weaves some very explosive and emotionally intense intimate scenes. This story was worth reading and now, I am definitely looking forward to the next one...Also, Kery incorporates some serious psychosocial issues that, unfortunately is reality and not just fiction. Well done. I liked this continuation of Francesca & Ian's story. It was filled with intrigue and mystery this time as well. Ian left Francesca when they found out about Ian's father. He went to try to find out his origins because he didn't think he could have Francesca without knowing where or what he came from. But they meet back up when Francesca is threatened and Ian takes her back and Francesca forgives him slowly for leaving her like he did. There's plenty of coupling between Ian and Francesca along with the mystery of who is threatening them. It was a good Segway into Ian finding another 1/2 brother Kam Reardon. And now Beth Kery is on to tell another story in this series with the new brother.
