What do I think about this book?Well, first of all, the first part of it kind of got in my nerves a little bit. Maybe it was because I read the fist one and the novella in the middle just before reading this one, I don't know. The thing is, I already knew all of that information! I don't need it! What's more, I got the feeling it was presented over and over again in the very same way. I get that if it had been a long time since I read the previous book I word appreciate it more, but...Second,this one is maybe a personal one, but I had a bit of an issue with the repetition of adjetives, things like "big,big animal" and so on. You can always say enormous, right?Thirdly, I must admit that when we are told of that winter resort or whatever it was, the first thing that came to my mind was the vampire academy series, the second book, because the setting is fairly similar. However, despite that the story followed its all story line,something obviously great.Having said all of that, I must admit that I like this book. I liked the story, the characters and the plot. For me, once survived the repetition in the beginning, it was a real page turner so I look forward to reading the next! 4.5 stars or maybe 4 still deciding but I enjoyed this book maybe not as much as the first one but only because the circumstances, like of course Gwen not seeing the obvious. I literally hate knowing things before the protagonist does, And I hate when the assume wrong. I know it adds to the suspense or what not but for me I'd just like to get straight to the point. what I did love tho was everything else, I love this series so far and the characters but I'd love to see them more developed , and see them grow more. especially Gwen she's heading in the right direction for sure! and Logan Quinn what's there about to say about Logan Quinn other then LOVE and FINALLY. off to read dark frost , and find out some more interesting things.
