About book Přání Smrti (2011)

This was my favorite book of the series. Finally, finally there is some closure for the brothers. This book is unique in the fact that you read it from not only Cal's perspective, but also Niko's.The book is completely filled with action and I was more then happy with how the storylines played out. Of course there is another big baddie in the book besides the Aulphe, but the truth is it revolves around finally dealing with them. It deals with the both of the brother's worse nightmares come true, and they come out all the stronger for it.Nik and Promise's relationship hits turbulence in the form of her daughter. There is no longer a George and Cal. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with that choice as Georgina ends up looking way worse in this book then she had in the last.Robin is well Robin. An awesome character that just keeps on keeping on. Loved this book. Hope the next will be even better. Short Review: 3.5 StarsGreat and fun action.Characters still as great as ever.Great set up for sub-plot.Double POV (Niko and Cal), which is interesting and maybe a first in Urban fantasy who sticks normally to one person only.Double POV (Niko and Cal) leads to too many repetition of "he's my brother; I will protect him" and "I can't live without my brother"; there's a fine line between stressing the importance to each other and then there's is just going overboard.

Much better than Madhouse, probably the best in the first 4 novels in the serie.
