I loved this book so much! This is the perfect book to start for the beginning of the year. I adored both Sarah and Spencer. During the book I felt like I was going through all the emotions with Sarah as she grew into a young women. This is my first book that I've read by the author Debra Doxer and I've got to say that I will be looking out for anythingthat she writes. Although the only thing I can say about this book that I would have loved would have been a POV from Spencer, he was going through so much in this book and it would have been nice to get a little bit inside his mind. --5 Stars... This is a great book you have to read! I received a copy of this book from the author on Netgalley. I've been stuck in a book slump, feeling like I've just been reading the same stories over and over, so when I started reading this book I was relieved to find that it was different. The story really drew emotion from you, making you feel everything the characters were going through. While it was sad and heart wrenching at times it ended beautifully making you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The author did a great job at keeping the book interesting the whole time, always leaving you needing to know what was going to happen next. It was a mix of suspense and mystery and a love story. It had great characters, you could really get a sense of their personalities, and the story flowed smoothly. I am looking forward to reading more from her!
