About book Play Dirty (The Devil's Share Book 2) (2015)

Sex. Drugs. Rock n Roll.Yeah, we have heard it before. It’s so cliché, but it’s true of this story. I love rock star romance. It’s a favorite subgenre. However, in my history of reading rock star romances, many authors manage to create a hero who is mainly “anti-drug use” and that’s what I have come to expect when reading.“Once upon a time, in a faraway land of booze and p***y lived a sexy badass bass guitarist...”The hero of this story is Smith James, a recreational drug user who has the hots for Dylan Lawson, the physician’s assistant on the tour. I was not expecting to like him because of this one vice. What I got instead, was“Unexpected, and by surprise. Perfect.”Meet Smith James, aka Sex God and Prophylactic police. All the things you need for a wicked good, kiss-ass read. It’s tough to resist a sweet Smith, even worse a dirty talking sex god with a t-shirt as proof.Play Dirty lives up to its title during the bouts of smexy times between Dylan and Smith. It’s explicit and makes Dylan crave more of Smith. Somehow, his use of the dirty language makes her feel cherish and love. Speaking of love, Smith's declaration to Dylan is awesome. It’s to die for sweet, romantic, sexy and swoon worthy. This was a 4 star read until Dylan shows her true colors toward the end of the book. This chick is a total badass! Out from nowhere she dwarfs from “all work and no play” to “do your worse”.Boom! That’s Dylan dropping some knowledge on Smith’s family and making this a 5 KINK review. But you didn’t hear it from me. Just read it for yourself. Now bring on Luke and Jacks’ stories. I can NOT wait for long. **I was gifted this book by author/pubisher in exchange for an honest review on Mile High KINK Book Club. http://milehighkinkbookclub.com/

Well ... Where do i start? Im still buzzing with happiness after reading this book! From the beginning of the book when a beautiful Dylan Lawson steps onto the tour bus of 'The Devils Share' and her eyes locked on the hot and very sexy bassist Smith James, i was hooked!Dylan is a physicians assistant hired by Dash (the band's lead singer) to 'take care' of his pregnant girlfriend Lexi. Jacks is the guitarist and a huge playboy with the fans he also likes his drink and may i say recreational drugs.Luke is the drummer and is the quiet one of the group. He only sleeps with his ex's! There is also some kind of weird chemistry between Luke and Lexi ... But i think thats another story. From the moment Dylan and Smith set eyes on each other the air around them burns bright like fire! They grow closer together as the tour rolls on and they get to the point that although Dylan has been through heartbreak with an ex and Smith has suffered through hell as a child to grow into a drug taking playboy, they begin to open up to each other and feelings start to grow.As the tour comes to an end Smith's past tries to bite him on the butt big time will his love for Dylan keep him clean and faithful or will he slip back to his old ways? Can they survive together? ... A man whos never been shown how to love and a woman who has a heart full of love to share, but is it strong enough? Are they?I give it full house stars and maybe even 2 bonus ones!!!Reviewed by Tracy@LadiesOfLoveBookBlogAndGraphics

Do You like book Play Dirty (The Devil's Share Book 2) (2015)?

* * ARC given on behalf of obsessed by books for an honest review * *OK really who doesn't love bad ass rockers? Well Smith James is all that and sexy as hell. Smith has had a sucky life his family does care about him and the one family member that did, tried to kill him. So to handle his life style he's became needy of drug, he likes how that numb the pain, that is until Dylan. Dylan is a NP and has been asked go on tour with Devil's Share to look out for Lexy during her pregnancy, but Dylan didn't realize she would need to watch out for falling in love. Dylan has loss someone to drugs and she can't be apart of it again, but she cares too much not to help. Dylan and Smith are sexy together. Dylan afraid of losing someone she cares about and Smith is afraid that once Dylan knows his truths she’ll run. I truly loved this book it does end in a cliff hanger, but I'm so looking forward to the next one.

To be honest- this book bored me. It dragged and I couldn't wait to be done with it. What didn't work for me:1. Smith- I couldn't gauge his age, I couldn't picture what he looked like, and he still seemed like an immature kid in my mind from book one.2. H/h relationship- I bought his end of it but not hers. I could see how he felt and worked to keep what he wanted but she didn't ring true to me. 3. Sex. Way too much annoying sex. Book one who was about the biggest manwhore didn't have much detailed sex this book? It was over kill.4. Lexi- omg! Did she freaking annoy the hell out of me. Who died and made her queen mother of all? And why did they let her get away with having no boundaries and being ridiculously bossy, and getting her way? Annnnnnnnoooooyyyyying as all flipping hell.5. Humor- where the hell was the good funny humor?

I received this book in exchange for an honest review) I loved it!!! Play Dirty starts where Play Nice ended, it has the same wonderful humor and steam that I loved from the first book. The story of Smith and Dylan falling in love really drew me in. Smith has a lot of heavy issues and struggles to work through and Dylan helps him realize how strong he is and that he has the strength to overcome them. We get to see all our favorites from the first book along with the hilarious antics they get up to! Awesome story and with the tease at the end I can't wait for the next book!!!
