About book Phoenix Rising (2000)

You know I wasn't impressed with the death in this book, like seriously I'm still crying. I loved Michel be's such a sweetheart and the total opposite of his ass of a brother Luc. I really liked the scene where Maggie finds out Michel and Luc can read minds, I laughed so I hard I truly think I peed my pants (TMI I know) "Were you going to let me know that vampires could hear peoples thoughts?" I asked, a little mad now at the thought of all he'd heard running through my mind since I first laid eyes on him. "Why would I tell you? Your thoughts are rather," Michel paused, smiling like the cat that caught a bird, "flattering." "Because it's rude," I bit out, embarrassment turning to anger.I also enjoyed this scene: "I think I'm going to be sick," I warned, but before Luc could get back, my lunch spilled onto the floor in front of us. " That's disgusting!" Luc exclaimed, leaping back to avoid having it hit. "These were my favorite pair of Diesel Jeans, damn it!" I'm thinking take that you ass! I enjoyed this book and thanks to that damn cliffhanger the next book in the series needs to come out like yesterday so I can now how this ends, and ten to one the next book will have me crying my eyeballs out to. Maggie is 16 years old and her entire world has just changed. Her father is not the person she has been told he is, her mother is not her mother, and she has a grandfather she never knew. Maggie, the last Phoenix, has discovered that there are all kinds of things that she never knew existed. She joins a war that has her surrendering to save those she loves. Even then, she still loses someone she loves. What will she do to have this one returned to her?
