I'm sorry but this book is really not good for me. It's just confusing and annoying at the same time. I despise Fia for being so self-centered. I hate James for being a control freak and Rafael for being manipulative. Adam wasn't given much of an exposure. I was expecting that Adam and Fia will have a chance to develop their relationship but obviously Fia is so into James she does everything he says even if it's wrong and that's completely disappointing. For Fia, protecting Annie is her job but I don't understand why she's turning away from her. I don't know, really. The thing that Annie made in the ending really surprised me, though. For the first time, she made good use of herself despite of her disability. I do love Cole for her, too! I could say I like Annie in this book because she really tried hard to be useful. At this point, she's tired of being protected. But still I don't like the book. So many details and the flashbacks are still disturbing. Will there be another book? I just read this in one afternoon and now I have a headache from crying through the entire final third of the book. Excellent.Kiersten's handling of Fia and Annie is extraordinary. Their voices are remarkable and distinct. The timeline should be dizzying, but instead she makes it work perfectly (though I do admit I found myself flipping back to the beginnings of chapters to keep it straight in my head, but it was never distracting to me). Loved every single bit of it. So glad I had an afternoon to read it, but now I'm sad because it's over.
Do You like book Perfect Lies (2014)?
An amazing book. Definitely relates to the idea of evil we were learning in class. A must read!

Fia annoyed me the whole entire time. Annie is my favorite.
