Late night in Cape Town, South Africa. Everyone is scrambling to find the missing cargo. "Who ever finds it gets a triple bonus!" A young Christine Palmer is sailing solo across the Atlantic in memory of her newly dead father. She checking the boat when she finds a man barley alive in the frigid waters. Soon after he is pulled up on the boat he quickly commandeers the boat and sails to the tip of England. Once there he tares the sails, cuts all of the rope and jumps off to start swimming. As the story continues, they go from Scotland Yard to the secret service headquarters of Israel and everything in between. I really enjoyed this book Because the author tells the same story but from many different points of views and uses creative dialog in the process. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romantic and action-packed plot. The Perfect Assassin is Ward Larsen’s first novel and WOW! The story is gripping and put together well. There are important pieces going on in different places and with different characters, but the chapters all came together without losing the reader. David Slaton doesn’t miss. He’s always seems to be one step ahead, yet he always needs to get to that next step. There is so much going on, but not too much and you never are totally sure of some characters and which side they’re on. I found it to be well-written and a riveting story. I can hardly believe it was a debut novel.
Lots if twists and turns, really keeps you guessing
