About book Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Ultimate Guide (2010)
This book by Rick Riordan is like a guide that talks about the lighting thief series. It first talks about the different characters in the book. It shows whose who and how they have an impact on the story. An example that affect the story alot is Annabeth. She is a friend of Percy and traveled all around with him. It also talked about Percy's enemies who is the Greek god Ares. He is the god of war and fought Percy in the first book the Lighting thief.I like to read this book because it talks about one of my favorite series that was named the Lighting thief series. It gives alot of information about the people Percy met throughout the series. It talks about all the backgrounds of each character in the book even if its miner. I recommend this book to people who like none stop action and adventure. Meine Meinung:Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Begleitbuch zur Percy Jackson Reihe. Man muss es nicht haben, aber für Fans ist es eine nette Ergänzung.Die Aufmachung ist der Hammer. Das Buch ist zwar klein (fast quadratisch) aber es hat einen Leineneinband mit einer Magnetklappe. Noch dazu ist auf der Frontseite ein Wackelbild auf dem einige Charaktere aus der Reihe zu sehen sind. Innen erhält man dann noch 9 Charaktersammelkarten. Die Illustrationen im Buch sind wirklich toll – vor allem die Kreaturen. Der Informationsgehalt ist auf Kinder angepasst und eher durchschnittlich. Man erfährt einiges zum Inhalt der Büchern, was man aber bereits alles weiß wenn man die Reihe gelesen hat. Ich empfehle das Buch nicht vorm beenden der Reihe zu lesen, da es sonst Spoiler enthält.Neben den Infos zur Buchreihe, gibt es auch Informationen zu den einzelnen Göttern, sowohl wie sie in den Büchern dargestellt werden, als auch wie die alte Überlieferung sie darstellt. Ob das unbedingt immer so verständlich und förderlich für Kinder ist, lasse ich mal um Raum stehen. (ich sage nur Inzest, Fremdgehen und hässliche Kinder vom Olymp schmeißen) Ich persönlich habe den Kauf nicht bereut, da ich die Zeichnungen sehr mag und illustrierte Bücher sammle. Von der Aufmachung her, ist es wirklich einzigartig und grandios. Der Informationsgehalt und die etwas chaotische Aufteilung haben mich aber nicht begeistert.Meine Wertung:3,4 von 5 Sternen

Two words. Official artwork. While I love this entire series including the Hero's of Olympus books, this book has very little value to Percy Jackson fans. If you've already read the series (which, you need to before you buy this book because of major spoilers) you will know all of this information anyway. And the artwork... Is just horrible in this. Looks nothing like the artwork on the actual books. All in all, I would NOT recommend buying this book. It you're looking for some more Percy Jackson info, look elsewhere.

3.5 starsYou don't understand how mad I am that this wasn't written by Rick Riordan. I've owned this for years and never knew. Anyways, I noticed a few inaccuracies in this. There's no new material, which I always thought was weird but now I know why. The quizzes and pictures are fun I guess. This is really a thing for the younger fans. We all took the quiz at school and compare results and stuff. We were such nerds.
