With such an excellent blurb I was more than excited to get stuck into Forever Yours. I was more than aware than this book has been translated from German, and with that in mind I started.After a very long and quite tedious start, the story finally took hold. I have to admit that I was lost in parts, and couldn’t put some things together. There was no character build up to the main characters at all, which made emotion, suspense, and familiarity rare. As the plot thickens we do see a change in the writing style, which was seriously needed. It upped its pace, and the book became interesting. That is until the end. It is one of them books that just stops dead. There is nothing worse for me than that.With such a brilliant plot, it really was a shame that the basics to identify with the heroine wasn’t there.It is a strong story, and one I’d recommend. Just remember not to put it down straight away. Признавам си, тази книга успя да ме изненада. Друго очаквах, все пак авторът е написал две от най-сантименталните книги, които са ми попадалаи в ръцете. Тук обаче има линия, която успява да те накара да скърцаш със зъби. И да се замислиш. И да си зададеш въпрос колко такива хора всъщност познаваш без да подозираш за тъмната им страна и манипулативните им способности. И доколко човек е подготвен не да заподозре, а да преживее ситуация като описаната в книгата. Имам какво да кажа по отношение на героите, малко не им достига за да преминат от графични в пълноцветни. Но интригата, развоя на отношенията, обрисуването на впадането в депресията са абсолютно автентични.Чистичко, подредено, по немски (да, знам,че авторът е австриец)написано.Препоръчвам.
