Here I am again. I've rated Museum of Thieves and City of Lies (is that what it's called?). And I'm back to rate Path of Beasts. And for the third time I'll say this was definitely likable. I have to say that this was quite a bang for an average "definitely likable" series like this one. A neat ending with all the loose ends tied in a pretty bow (cuz in school we learned that a good resolution "ties all loose ends together"). But of all three books I liked COL the best. Usually the middle book goes skipped (just like they say about a Wednesday) but according to me it was the best one. I am SO SORRY to see this series end. It's imaginative and compelling. The worldbuilding is great and the characters are fully three-dimensional.My only quibble with this book is a couple of plot points that I felt were clumsily telegraphed. But whatever.And if you can do the audiobook version, I will say for the nth time that Claudia Black's narration is AMAZING. Whoever directed it should win an award.
