This is the second book I've read and devoured by LH Cosway in less than a week. I love the way she writes. I found myself laughing out loud several times. The story took me through the range of emotions and I absolutely loved it. I couldn't wait to get to the end to see what happened, then felt sad that I'd finished it. Nicholas is an amazingly, beautifully broken man. Freda has her act together, but not if you ask her. She's not perfect, but she is a wonderful character! No cookie cutter perfect people here. No bad-assed tattoo'd men who vow to never fall in love. It's not like that. Not at all. The only real regret I have here is that I didn't read this book sooner! The author is Irish, and I find myself reading along with what I imagine to be a perfectly horrible Irish accent. I love the "different" words. Wanker. Knickers. Every time she talked about her knickers I giggled a little. :) My rating is 3 starsThe start was really interesting, I like the build up of the story, the concept is kind of new. At first I really thought Nicholas/Viv is gay, but then his remarks about Freda sure does not translates a gay person. I also like their names, or pet names to be exact. Fred which a bit masculine then Viv/Vivica, hehe. Overall it was okay, it got me hooked up for the first half but the other half got my interest waning. It's like drinking cola with less fizz at the end.

I really loved this book. I don't even know how to explain it except that it was fantastic!
