I think this book was great! I absolutely loved it! It's about an 18 year old girl and her 21 year old bodygaurd falling in love...slowly. Her dad is WAY too overprotective. He doesn't let her go to parties, have friends other than the ones he approves, or even go out in public by her self. Thats why he hired a body gaurd, and when the bodygaurd falls in love with his daughter (which they usually did) he fires them. He hired the 21 year old, Colin, because he knew his daughter hated him based on past experiences. But... his daughter, Ashlyn, falls in love and so does Colin! ;) :) ;) :) This was an enjoyable read, but the albeit expected ending was just so weak. Almost as though once the story reached a certain point, it was wrapped up with a few pages that just left the whole thing feeling flat. To quote author Jamie Ford, 'But that ending is all-important for me. And by ending, I mean a real unambiguous, non-metaphorical ending. I look at storytelling as either banking or spending emotional emotional currency with the reader. Good or bad, happy or sad, the ending is where those emotional debts are paid.' I couldn't agree more.

I didn't finish this book. It was slow and I didn't care about the characters.
