The book Guys Read: Other Worlds edited by Jon Sciezka was a awesome sci-fi read read. I really enjoyed the concept of having multiple different stories in one book. Each one of them had their own connection to supernatural activity and had their own characters that interested me and intrigued me. The only thing that I did not like was that I was always hurled into a new story right away and is confused me sometimes. Even though that happened I still loved the idea and the story. I learned a variety of lessons from how short life really is too the amount if power one man can hold. I would recommend this book to people who like a variety of sic-fi Characters and a variety of stories. Jon Scieszka has put together a wonderful collection by some really fine writers, with very excellent suggestions for more works by these authors. I am an old guy who has been enjoying sci-fi and fantasy since I read my first E.R.Burroughs novel more than fifty-years ago. This collection is a great introduction to the genre, and a nice addition for those who have already discovered its joys.I know a couple of these stories will be of interest to my grandson, and I can't wait to have a chance to talk this book with him, because I am certain his fertile mind will work these stories into an interesting conversation.
I wish I like sci-fi more in books but I just dont.
