Review: Hidden Oasis by Paul Sussman: I loved this book. It is fast paced, doesn’t give loads of information on the subject of Egyptology, and stings you along without effort. The main characters were volatile, well rounded and got a good response from me, whether it was disgust or admiration. There is mystery, puzzles, a possible romance, and of course, devious plots. A definite read for all who like these adventure/archaeological books. This is an honest review. Bought the book at a bookshop I haven't read a Murder Mystery/Action Adventure (or whatever genre you would classify this book under) in a long while. I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I loved the ancient Egypt part of it and the tid bits of history thrown in along the way. As a child I was fascinated by Egypt and pyramids and lost tombs etc so it was cool as an adult to pick up this book.It was fast paced right from the beginning and it had me guessing until the end. Or rather, it had me thinking I knew what was going on the whole time only to throw a curve ball at me at the end which I always appreciate. Great read and I will look into reading more by this author!

Storyline is good, but some parts were boring.
