Okay, so I NEVER want to 1 star a book and CERTAINLY NOT a free one, but I couldn't in good conscience provide anything more than one. I was very uncomfortable with all the fat girl references, the comment that she wasn't even a "butt virgin" was so out of left field and just plain "Eeeeeewwwee". (I'm fine w anal in books but this was just so freaking random to throw in there). Him admitting he was just looking for a sugar Momma, his Meemaw... Seriously, his Meemaw?? Come on Man! That's just bad.I sincerely appreciate any author offering her work as a gift to their readers, but this one just wasn't for me. It started with a PR trip to Vegas and a strip club and getting drunk and finding yourself hung over and married to the hunk of burning love whose abs are stuff that fantasies are made of lying beside you. This is the start of something that may or may not end well for Val Wilder. One Wild Night is a fun, fast and hot read which tells the tale of how a quickie wedding can't really go the way of a quickie divorce however much Val wants it. It seems she has become the sugar mama of one hot male stripper who wants to shed his current image to continue pursuing his dreams of a music career. Wes is a sweetie... and sexy and Val is starting to fall a little bit for him, a totally bad idea. But still totally a good idea to continue having the honeymoon until they can go their separate ways. In the meantime she'll be taking him home. One Wild Night is the start of the Forever Wild series, a serialized novel which follows the exploits of Val and Wes and how they may or may not end their marriage.
