About book One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America's Future (2014)
Some really solid ideas if one can look past the derision with which he uses the term "secular progressives," the basis of many of his arguments on the questionable existence of a god, and the downright silly section on evolution. If you don't share his religious beliefs, it's hard not to feel attacked, but if you turn a blind eye to the intolerance, he has some solid advice on how to more actively participate in the governance of our nation. The book started out really good with well thought-out plans on how to lower the reliance on government programs and nonsense of the P.C. world we have dug for ourselves. Then about a third of the way through, it changed to ideas of how to make the world a more peaceful place and obtain harmony between different groups of people. The problem was that it was not realistic on how effective this would be in the world in which we currently live. Nice guy, but not totally realistic.
