Having already read the 4th book in the series, I had some idea of where this book was going to go, but even knowing what I knew, I was pleasantly surprised, and happy with it. The plot was lacking in depth, as there was no real action to it. I felt that the other books did better with a plot. I felt that the author focused too much on the D/s aspect of the novel instead of the actual relationship between the characters.Overall, I really did enjoy the book. This one has some Bite. Definitely D/s (although it is a romance as well) he makes good use of the time he's got with the girl. Girl lusts after boss. Boss is secret dungeon master. When he becomes her Master (of course she does not know who he is) and turns her fantasies into reality she falls in love. Paulin has a way of crafting sex scenes that are incredibly arousing - and they can be down and dirty too. The D/s here is very exceptionally well done - particularly dialogue. All the books in the series are great!
